Magazine blog post

The magazine I chose was Gentlemen’s Quarterly magazine, or better known as GQ magazine.

A style magazine, more like a lifestyle magazine.

I really like this magazine because their targeted audience is the gentleman that is within every male.

Regardless of who they are. Granted, many of the men who buy issue after issue wondering why they can’t dress like that.

It’s all about where they get the things they advertise.

They don’t have to go to the nearest Nordstrom or Neiman Marcus to get things that make a man look good. Its always about the way a man shops.

The magazine is riddled with advertisements, everything from cologne to cufflinks.

Showing men how to look and what will look good on them.

Despite having a very distinguished feel to the magazine, there are “How to” guides and articles about men celebrities.

Much like a woman’s Vogue magazine, except directed to men.

Just like television and many other avenues of advertising, especially directed to young adults, sex is the road they take. With articles about sex to sex exuded advertisements tempting men to buy their products.

Amid the advertisements, entertainment and rich people kind of aura to the magazine, there are areas where they talk about real things, more like goings on in the country maybe in our own communities.

Where trying to get the best out of a man, regardless of wealth status is the issue rather than the physical magazine.

Another sentence fragment: A style magazine, more like a lifestyle magazine. Start it with "It is" and it's a complete sentence.

Another sentence fragment: Regardless of who they are.

There are more, but I'd like you to find them and fix them. If you want help, come see me during my office hours.

8/10 - please revise and republish.
